Membership
and Guest Services Coordinator, Headley-Whitney Museum, Lexington,

Creatively marketed gallery openings and special events
held at the Headley-Whitney Museum. This included website
projects, writing press releases, coordinating cross promotion
with local museums and galleries, and the creation of press
packets.
• Artistically created graphic materials including
brochures, invitations, posters, mailers, website graphics,
and newsletters for the marketing division of the Headley-Whitney
Museum.
• Redesigned the Headley-Whitney Museum website successfully
creating a cohesive look integrating all aspects of the
museum’s collection.
• Effectively maintained current membership and renewals
for the museum using Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word.
• Profitably arranged and executed an annual giving
campaign involving over 700 addresses. This campaign included
personalized letters to 300 individuals. As the second largest
fundraiser for the museum this mailing raises between $10,000
and $20,000.

Redesigned and developed the website for local Lexington
restaurant Jonathan’s at Gratz Park. This site was
given a new look, including flash animation on the home
page. The addition of an ecommerce section for purchasing
gift certificates successfully resulted in increasing revenue
of the business within the first month of its launch.
• Provided recognizable branding mechanisms for the
Appalachian College Association’s annual summit in
the form of banners, posters and a logo. These materials
attained enough acclaim within the organization to become
permanent branding materials.
• Successfully redesigned the website of The Blue
Grass Trust for Historical Preservation. For this project
the organization wanted an updated look and feel incorporating
their 50th anniversary logo. The site architecture was also
redesigned to better organize their website content. This
site will be launched in early August 2005.

Successfully assisted in the creation of five dynamic ASP
based web sites, from inception to completion, using Photoshop,
Dreamweaver, JavaScript and all other necessary programs
at my disposal. These sites were all well received by the
clients and, on two occasions, entered for awards in their
fields.
• In two years I effectively produced ten e-learning
modules for online courses under tight deadlines, including
translating content with an .xml macro, inserting and arranging
graphic images, creating interactive questions and answers
and worked on opening animation and menus using Flash MX.
